Headspace is amazing. My first experience of mediation started with the app. Truly life changing.

My phone is always on Do Not Disturb for all notifications and calls. Whenever I turn it off and get the flood of messages I feel my stress level rise immediately.

Likewise - it was an absolute game changer. The streak count is also a count of the number of days since I struggled with suicidal thoughts. Meditating every day has taken them away.

Now if I hear a phone vibrate or even see it flash for a notification it seems like madness. Choosing how you engage with your phone makes such a difference.

Apparently the CIA studied it for it's ability to grant psychic powers lol.

But it is very calming. I do it first thing after waking or when I'm tired but can't sleep.
